What is GreenX?
GreenX is a global open innovation program that focuses on climate tech and carbon neutrality in which large corporations representing various industries and startups from around the world collaborate to promote green growth and a carbon neutral society.

Do I have to relocate to Japan for the program?
There is no relocation requirement. The program will be entirely remote, unless the PoC phase is to take place in Japan.

Who should apply?
Global startups of all stages that fall under the two focus areas or the nine GreenX categories.

How do I apply?

How long is the application process?
The application shouldn’t take you more than 20-25 minutes.

What will I get from participating?
Startups receive access to a community of industry leaders, advice on how to build successful businesses, business development opportunities, and access to our network of corporate partners.

What is the timeline of the program?
Applications open from June 2024. Startups are encouraged to submit by October 31, 2024 (11:59pm PST).

Will the program pay for the transportation and accommodations at the event?
As a general rule, startups who opt to travel for the program must cover their own expenses.

What will be the treatment of intellectual property during the program?
The intellectual property rights and the business plans developed during the program will belong to the participants.
